Member Dues Policy

Last Revised: April 29, 2026

Summary: Membership is based on a calendar-year term, regardless of when you join. Dues may be paid annually or quarterly, depending on your preference. If you join after the first quarter, prorated annual dues are available. Our association office (see below) can provide new members with discount codes to set up their dues subscription. Membership will be terminated if payments fall behind and no arrangements have been made.

Membership Dues and Fees: Membership dues are $1,000.00 per company per year. Dues are paid by the member setting up a membership account (dues subscription) whereby they will have their dues automatically drafted on a payment schedule of their choice (either quarterly $250 or annually $1k). Dues subscriptions can only be paid by credit/debit card. The member will be responsible for any credit card transaction fees attached to process their dues subscription. Should, for any reason, an automatic payment not be able to be processed, the member will be contacted for payment arrangements by the association.

Past Due Payments/Subscriptions: Should a member become delinquent after three (3) months [if paying quarterly] or one (1) quarter if paying annually, they will receive a phone call from the association office to make payment arrangements.

Membership Renewals: Membership and dues will be renewed automatically on an annual basis. If you do not wish to renew your membership, written notification needs to be sent to the Executive Director ninety (90) days prior to the next fiscal year. (October 1st). Members will be responsible for dues and they will continue to be processed until a formal cancellation is received by the association by contacting the association office (see below).

Membership Attendance at Association Events: Members in good standing will be allowed to attend events executed by the BBAA (e.g., monthly Member XCHANGE’s, OpenMic’s, networking events, etc.). A member in good standing is defined by them being current on their membership dues. If a member is deemed as not in good standing, they will not be allowed to attend any BBAA function and will be removed from our member directory for so long as they are in arrears and in the absence of a payment plan. Not in good standing will be defined as being more than one quarter behind (if paying quarterly), or April 1st of each year (if paying annually). Members will be removed from email and text communication when in arrears. Should a registration for an event come in from a member not in good standing, they will be notified they need to get current on their dues before attending the event. The association values its members over their dues and will happily consider member payment plans if needed. Contact the association office (see below).

Membership Cancellation: To cancel your membership, contact the association office (see below). Membership is based on a calendar-year term and dues are paid annually or quarterly. Dues are non-refundable.
